Think of 'This Grand Life' as a tabletop rpg alternative to The Sims. Personally, because I already own The Sims, [and prefer it despite 'This Grand Life''s various pros in comparison] I am most likely going to refund this game.. Stinking pile of poop, its not like the jones game and yes the dev may have been inspired by jones the same way a book inspires someone to write a book so well done! don't buy..... Really enjoying this game so far. Despite being in a bare bones state at the moment; easily enough content for one or two playthroughs and the potential is clear. I look forward to checking in on this again in a couple of months.. No. This has nowhere near tthe character as Jones. No voice acting. No AI opponent. 37 years later and they can't even come close!. Good game nice and passive, I would strongly recomend some my dynamics to the business managment of the game for instance having General managers, Regional managers, Distric managers and even Executives in large enough companies also I recomend allowing to chain businesses together to allow larger businesses to be built. Possibly Allow your company to go public , Another dynamic that would create more color is if when hiring employees you had to hire for specific positions that already exist in the job market.. For EA the game is very stable and just in need of more content. This game reminds me of a game I played some time ago called Kudos. I think that game is Abandonware now, but this definitely has gotten to about that game, minus the graphics and some content. I think as the game continues to grow in content it can only get more involving. If you want an easy run you can take advantage of all the pre-game add ons. If your looking for a challenge you can make your self a homeless achoholic shopaholic and try to get your life straight. The game is as hard as you make it. I look forward to seeing where this game goes and if I can survive the street as a homeless bartender.
